Day 23- Return

Day 23: HOME

After an early 6:30 morning in Kentucky, and waking up to Grant blasting music, TWB got on the bus for the very last day. We hit our last Walmart in Tennessee and kept on trucking. Our breakfast consisted of yogurt that we had to eat off of paper towels because the cooks forgot bowls... and many notebooks (and other objects...) were passed around the vehicles for our new TWB family to sign! Many cheers were heard as we arrived in NC and shortly after, we made it to our first rest stop of the day! We unloaded our tanks and kept on moving closer to home! After lunch and another few hours of driving we arrived at Sheetz. Our very last gas station stop as a group. These last few moments are truly bittersweet, but we are so excited to get back to our homes, beds, phones, and families!

Words cannot describe how amazing this trip has been, and how impactful TWB has been on all of the participants lives. We want to thank all of the staff, parents, and people who believed in us and made this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible. It was a chapter of our life that we will never forget and even though it's ending, each of our books are still being written. These lifelong friendships and memories are truly priceless. We will see you all at 5:00 in Mallard Creek. Thank you, and God bless, TWB trip 2 signing off.❤️🇺🇸
