Day 3- San Antonio

Day 3: San Antonio and the Alamo

HAPPY BASHFUL DAY 3!!! Today we woke up bright and early to start our long journey to Buc-ees and later the heart of San Antonio. After everyones naps on the bus/vans we had a hearty and healthy breakfast, a granola bar. After a couple stops to tinkle we made it to the most important gas station BUCEES!! Our very own Wyatt and Eli bought signature bucees onesies, and continued to wear them throughout the day!!! Many got a head start on lunch, with items such as, cookie dough bites, chicken tenders, and beaver nuggets! After fueling up, we had our 2 hour drive to the Alamo! After a wild goose chase trying to find parking, we had arrived. Everyone booked it to the bathroom before we took our group photo in front of the Mission San Antonio de Valero! Making our way into the famous cathedral honoring all the passed loved ones who died fighting in the war. After paying our respects we trecked into the beautiful River Walk, enjoying the scenery and wildlife around us. Then by splitting into groups we made our way into souvenir shops and got some goodies! After a long and hot two hours we made our way back onto the busses and headed to Schreiner Park to camp under the moonlight!
